Editing
My degree in publishing honed my editing skills through classes like copyediting, fiction editing, nonfiction and technical editing, and various journalism classes. I am trained in Chicago Manual of Style and AP Style, and have experience doing developmental and copyedits for a number of novels, including a young adult, three romances, a contemporary fiction, and an ensemble-adventure. I also edited for the Belmont school newspaper and literary journal, and was a proofreader as an intern for Melville House Publishing.

Website Design
I am an experienced web designer using SquareSpace, WordPress, and Wix platforms. I have designed and edited the website for WriterFest Nashville, Wes Sherman Studio, and Murray Law, and I am actively working on upcoming projects. I have an elementary understanding of code, and I am adept at setting up/linking email campaigns and user storage. I also can implement SEO and marketing materials into websites. Designing landing pages for authors is a recent passion, and I look forward to creating more spaces for readers to find their favorite writers.

Marketing and Publicity
As the former administrative coordinator for WriterFest Nashville, I oversaw social media marketing, wrote email campaigns, and pitched media outlets for publicity. I have written press kits and helped authors create pitching portfolios. I can create mock-social media calendars and design graphics, as well as brainstorm content ideas and implement hashtags and SEO.

Writing and Reviewing
I’ve always been an avid reader and writer, and have experience in professional writing for email campaigns, blog posts, and website copy. I am an active reviewer for industry websites like Edelweiss and NetGalley as well as my personal Goodreads account, and love reviewing advanced book galleys. My review of Fredrik Backman’s My Friends was even chosen by Simon and Schuster for their marketing campaign!
